The Original Henry's Baseball Club started in 1975, it started out as Sunday baseball. As players called and approached me about playing pro baseball, I developed a placement service to help out baseball talent. I get a list of all the pro tryouts around the nation, locations, time to be there, and who or what club is holding pro baseball tryouts. We have a list of 1,300 pro baseball scouts. Each year we get a book with all the MLB information. It covers administration, baseball operations, clubhouse, medical staff, field personell, communications, business operations, ballpark administration, baseball enterprises, guest services, human resources/finance, information technology, and legal, ballpark information, local media, and spring training. To give you an example, this is the San Francisco Giants farm system as of 2016: it starts out with the Dominican League (rookie) DSL Giants, Arizona Summer League (rookie) Arizona Giants, Northwest (SS) Salem-Keizer Volcanoes, South Atlantic (A) Augusta GreenJackets, California League (A-adv) San Jose Giants, Eastern League (AA) Richmond Flying Squirrels, Pacific Coast (AAA) Sacramento River Cats. In another book, we have the contact info for 4,000 college coaches and their cell phones, their assistants, and an athletic profile of each college. We also have a high school book with about a half-million high school programs across the nation, and the contact information for each baseball coach, and profile of the athletic department.

What we do is find baseball talent, then find them an opportunity, depending on their baseball skills, their age, and what they bring to the table. In the summer, there are 40 games in some of the Boston leagues that we deal with, and another 40 in another league. A player could play 80 amateur/ semi-pro baseball games in the Greater Boston area. Henry was a professional coach in the Minor Leagues, his manager was George Scott, "The Boomer". He played 1B for the Boston Red Sox in MLB, and batted 4th behind Carl Yastrzemski. George Scott taught Henry overload training, the 6-12 play, the difference between control and command, the 4 items to put in an envelop and send to a pro scout or scouting director, where to get the list of 1,300 scouts each year, the jab step, the rocker step, etc., etc. That and a mountain more is what you will learn if you participate in our baseball programs.
